Good traditional cuisine in a setting that does not lack cachet. A warm welcome without chichis. Cards, there are everywhere and to choose the menu, it's better to have soft brains! View all feedback.

What Joe Wilson dislikes about Le Petit Pascal:
Haven't been to this neighborhood place in years, and I read that others seem to love it. We both had an average dinner tonight. The wine was a full-bodied red and reasonably priced. But my duck confit was way too salty (my dinner companion agreed with me). His lentils were underseasoned. It is hard to have a bad meal in Paris at these prices, but this one almost qualifies. Very good for a lot of places but very aver... View all feedback.

The food was excellent and the selection great. Only negative point: we were told we were too loud the while sharing a good laugh with my siblings. Felt kind of awkward afterwards!! But we would nevertheless recommend the place for the good food and the reasonable prices.

The petit pascal isn't there, where all the tourist are. near metro les gobelins, the restaurant looks charming and nice. 2 madames manage the place with a lot of grace. typical french food, good red wines and a nice place for dinner or lunch. had 2 salads and dessert are were happy. nice place, definitely.

OMG the crème brûlée!!! But, that's not all...We happened across this restaurant walking home to our AirBnB apartment on our last night in Paris, and decided it looked like a place 'locals' would go, so thought we'd go too. And how happy we are that we did!The 2 women front of house spoke only French, and our French is pitiful, so communication was interesting and quite comical in the end actually. There was a menu in English, which had obviously been translated using an online translator... It made for interesting descriptions, including "madness of duck"! After chèvre terrine and a shrimp and avocado entree, we tucked into house lasagne and a pork sausage and mash meal. When my husband ordered the sausage, the waitress/owner gesticulated what was likely 'innards', but he thought he'd give it a go anyway. Apparently it "tasted a lot better than it smelt".Even though we were so full we weren't sure we could stand, based on the quality of the food thus far, we HAD to have dessert. Again, thank goodness we did because the crème brûlée was, well, words can't describe it!!!We paid 97 Euros for entree, main and dessert each, as well as 4 glasses of wine and 2 coffees. WELL WORTH IT!Go there if you can :)
