Our experience was greatly diminished by our waiter, who fawned over the tables around us while completely ignoring service at our table. We waited a long time to place our order, were not given utensils with our starters and we waited over ten minutes to finally get his colleague’s attention to get those, our shellfish entree dishes (with the detritus) were left uncleared for almost half an hour, and our glasses were never refilled. At the price point, this is lamentable service. We finally managed to get our waiter’s colleague to serve us, which salvaged the rest of our dinner. Our group was unfailingly polite and not very demanding, we merely asked for the most basic aspects of service, yet we were treated with contempt by our waiter. Dessirier at your price point, you really need better staff.
