What Ava James doesn't like about Chez Georges:
We've been a few times, and it doesn't quite live up to its reputation. The turbot was ok but not special (although the bernaise sauce was excellent). The sole was fine. But at these prices one expects more 'wow'. You can get better traditional French food elsewhere - a top-notch sole at Auberge des Pyrennees Cevenne, for example; and more inventive and interesting cooking at Astier. View all feedback. What Léon Pereira likes about Chez Georges:
The restaurant was quite empty when we arrived yet the host directed us to an awful table, back in the corner with limited space for the chair. We almost walked out. We’re they isolating “foreigners” from the locals? The table next to us was later filled with Asian guests. View all feedback.
