Contribute Feedback What Léon Pereira likes about Chez Georges:
The restaurant was quite empty when we arrived yet the host directed us to an awful table, back in the corner with limited space for the chair. We almost walked out. We’re they isolating “foreigners” from the locals? The table next to us was later filled with Asian guests. View all feedback.
What Ava James doesn't like about Chez Georges:
We've been a few times, and it doesn't quite live up to its reputation. The turbot was ok but not special (although the bernaise sauce was excellent). The sole was fine. But at these prices one expects more 'wow'. You can get better traditional French food elsewhere - a top-notch sole at Auberge des Pyrennees Cevenne, for example; and more inventive and interesting cooking at Astier. View all feedback.
Eating was amazing, seriously amazing. was said there is a waiting period of 3 months for booking? am not 100% sure how a friend who has often brought us there without a booking. but in any case one of the best restaurants we have tried in paris authentic eating with great mood and atmosphere. that's a must!
Excellent but wonderful. the bottle list is enviable. I felt like a child in a sweet shop, and they'll surely meet someone interesting in the tightly occupied seats.
Definitiw they have to try the salmon with the green sauce and for which they do not even have to choose a very expensive, for white weine is the sauvignon blanc, the second of the tip I believe is very beautiful and a little flowery
Where, to the height of its reputation, dishes are generous, you will find all the classics of traditional French dishes. the team is very efficient and user-friendly.
I had the privilege of having lunch here with one of the greatest intellectuals of the France. kitchen that you can not, wine of the sublime house, meat and desserts to lose your head. refined but not unbearable environment, indeed all very kind and beautiful. I don't know if it's expensive, I didn't pay for it.
