The underrated ramen store. Most people craze about ramen nagi, yushoken, santouka, kuroda, etc. But for me, it 's this. The ambience is great. Made me feel like I was in Japan. Both the owners and the staff are friendly. Hands down best ramen which is their tantanmen. At first when I tried it it was kinda like meh but it really grows on you, and now it 's my favorite ramen. The only downside is their small service c... View all feedback.
Friendly staff and you get the authentic Japanese style ramen vibe. I love their Black Tantanmen because it’s a black as my soul (loljk) and super flavorful. This is my go to place if Yushoken has a long line and have good tasting ramen for a cheaper price. I promise you’d get your money’s worth literally if you’re saving. Been eating here way before it got it’s 4.3 Star Rating here in Zomato and i’m proud they have that rating alreadyyy
Been here a couple of times. The first time we ate here, was dinner so there was a really long line. I think only 10-12 costumers can sit and dine inside because the place is small. Also, you will have to sit on the bar. Japanese style indeed, even the head chef is japanese. Cheaper prices compared to other ramen shops. The picture below is chasumen, (only 270php) it has 7 slices of pork or chasu in it. I got so full at the end! It is yummy but the broth isn't hot enough. Tho the overall experience is quite nice, i know it can do better.
Definitely one of those gems in BF Parañaque! Attentive and friendly staff. Really good ramen. This Japanese ramen house (dunno if it's appropriate to call it this) looks a lot like what traditional Japanese ramen place in Japan look like. It's a skinny place, seating only maybe 12 customers at a time. Each seat is directly in front of the kitchen so you can actually see the chef (who is actually Japanese, as far as I can tell) prepping your ramen as you order it. When my mom and I got there one rainy night, we decided to just have our ramen to-go since the place was a bit packed for the night. We ordered a bowl of tantanmen and gyoza. We were charged extra for the to-go containers. The verdict on the ramen: delicious! The noodles were firm, and the soup had that nice umami flavor. I was a bit thrown off though with the ground pork (or was it beef) that came with it. Somehow it resembled like spaghetti, but all else, it was awesome. As for the spiciness, it wasn't spicy at all! Well, there was a little tingling of the tounge, but nothing compared to the spice that a siling labuyo would bring. YOU MUST GET GYOZA. Really. Each order comes with 6 plump pieces of perfectly cooked gyoza--fried on the bottom and perfectly steamed on top. And when I say these things are plump, I really do mean that they're plump. As in each piece is stuffed with pork filling! I actually got full after eating only three pieces!
Value for money is great. Visited this hidden gem in paranaque with a good friend of mine who knew about this place. Its somehow beside a korean mart. The place is always full and has that vibe of japanese small hole on the wall late night diner. Gyoza was superb. Ramen. . I was expecting a richer kind of broth but it was good enough. The broth though wasnt that hot when it was served to me. I kind of expected my ramen to be as hot as possible so that slurping can be a more enjoyable moment.
It was rainy day when we went here. It was perfect for ramen and yes it's a good thing we decided to go to this simple and very friendly Japanese ramen restaurant. We love their ramen, I ordered their shoyu ramen and my husband ordered the spicy one. Both are sooooo good we finished the whole bowl. We also ordered their yakitori mushroom and bacon good as well its a new taste but for me a perfect combi. Must try too is their gyoza soo good. Their food is Authentic and the Chef is the owner himself and he is Japanese. All staffs are friendly especially the owners of the resto. You'll also get free Ice tea thats why this Japanese resto is now included on our favorite resto list.
