What Linwood Kassulke dislikes about Red Robin Gourmet Burgers And Brews:
The food was terrible, we sent back 6 out of the 7 appetizers that were brought to us. The low-quality meat was poorly prepared and had a terrible taste. They meticulously calculated every penny of the bill. It's a shame that with the number of years they have been in business, they still provide poor customer service and low-quality food. I will not be returning and would not recommend it to anyone. It was expensive... View all feedback.
I was expecting better from my salad. The lettuce was not fresh and my sweet potato fries were cold.
I was disappointed with my salad at this restaurant. It wasn't fresh and my sweet potato fries were cold. I expected better quality.
I hadn’t visited Red Robin since before the pandemic, but when both of us received an email offering a free burger with any purchase, we decided it was the perfect opportunity to try it again. So, on an early Saturday evening, we dropped by. Many reviews of this restaurant, including my own from 2014 when it first opened, mentioned issues with slow, indifferent service. However, that wasn’t the case during our visit. I believe it’s worth giving this place another chance for anyone who was previously deterred by slow service. To be fair, staffing restaurants appropriately has been challenging lately, as it has been for many establishments. Yet, this time we were served promptly, and the manager and staff were both attentive and pleasant. Our burgers were perfectly grilled, topped with delicious ingredients, and the extra crispy fries were fantastic. If you’re in the mood for a relaxed meal featuring a burger and a beer, I highly recommend this Red Robin.
We have visited this location several times, but our last two experiences were quite disappointing. The burgers were overcooked, burnt, and nearly inedible. The fries were decent, but that was the only highlight. The ordering process was also slow. We tried sending back the burnt burgers for a redo, but they were only marginally better the second time. I understand there are staffing challenges, but is it really that hard to make a decent burger at a burger joint? After taking a break for a few months, my husband insisted we give Red Robin another chance, so we went again tonight with low expectations. After a brief wait, the waitress came to take our order before we had a chance to look over the menu. We ordered a kids' meal and an appetizer, and she promised to return in two minutes, but she never did. Instead, she spent her time walking around the dining room, staring at her phone and ignoring us and another table that was trying to order. At one point, she even left the restaurant with a non-employee. I’m unsure where they went, since there was no outdoor dining, but my husband and the other table eventually got up and went to the front several times in search of assistance. After waiting about 30 to 35 minutes for our appetizer, the other table decided to leave without ordering, and we ended up paying for our drinks and food through the table console. Just as we finished checking out, the waitress returned to ask if everything was okay. We simply replied yes and left. We might have considered waiting longer if not for the hypoglycemic conditions at our table, so we opted to find food elsewhere quickly. Overall, this was probably the worst experience we've ever had, and we won’t be returning.
