Ikea - Paramus
Ikea
Description
At the sprawling Paramus IKEA you’ll find endless inspiration for bedrooms, living rooms and smart storage at bargain prices. The in-store café, recently reopened, is a reliable pit stop—don’t miss the iconic Swedish meatballs, salads and family-friendly menu. Shoppers praise high-quality bedding and helpful staff, though weekends can be busy and checkout/pickup areas sometimes suffer staffing and pricing hiccups. Conveniently reachable by NJ Transit and offering EV charging and accessible parking, the store rewards a leisurely visit with shortcuts and new cotton tote options.

The Paramus IKEA is incredibly accessible, only a 30-minute ride on NJ Transit from the George Washington Bridge. However, the bus stop could use better lighting for those shopping late. I found the store to be quite uncrowded on a Friday night, and the staff was friendly and attentive. This is definitely my favorite location!
The bedding here is excellent quality—100% cotton. Plus, you can't beat IKEA's prices for storage solutions. I prefer the Paramus, NJ location over my local store in Brooklyn.
This is the best place on Earth! It’s an amazing spot to find everything you need for your home.
I always have a great time when I visit Ikea, and I can't leave without enjoying some meatballs. However, I've noticed a frustrating issue: some items are priced differently on the shelf compared to what they ring up at the register. This leads to long waits while they send someone to find the correct price, and often they can't locate the item at all. I'm quite disappointed when I leave without the items I wanted, especially when the price was clearly marked on the shelf.
I absolutely love visiting IKEA! There’s so much to explore and plenty of inspiration for home decor. Once you’ve finished shopping, be sure to take a break and enjoy a meal at their fantastic in-store cafe. They offer breakfast, lunch, and even dinner. The highlight of the menu is definitely the Swedish meatballs, served with mashed potatoes and vegetables, along with a rich lingonberry sauce. It’s my personal favorite! They also serve salmon and other tasty dishes, and if you’re watching your diet, there are lighter options like salads. Plus, there’s a kid's menu featuring chicken tenders and French fries, making it a budget-friendly choice for families. Don’t miss out on their desserts either, especially the cheesecake and apple pie. Whether you just want a cup of coffee or tea, I highly recommend stopping by. I truly enjoy every visit to IKEA!
