Decor is cool with something to look at everywhere. Brussel sprouts appetizer was our favorite thing. Food was all decent. Definitely more on the pricey side but that is to be expected. The scallops and shrimp were nicely flavored with a beurre blanc sauce, although the scallops were only seared on one side. On the other hand, the crab-stuffed grouper was bland and lacked seasoning, tasting almost like it had been poached in water. The mashed potatoes underneath the fish were decent, though. It also seems like the restaurant might get a bulk discount on red onions, as they seemed to be added to almost every dish and were quite overwhelming. Overall, I left feeling let down.

However, my entrée didn’t impr... read more On a positive note, the appetizer was good and reasonably priced at $20 for five shrimp. The coconut mocktail was also enjoyable. However, my entrée didn’t impress me. It was very bland and lacked any standout flavor. We drove two hours to eat here, and while we usually like to give a place a second chance, unfortunately, this time we won’t be returning. I'm sure there are other menu items that might have been better, but the overall experience felt as if the cook was having an off day. I wish them all the best, and I must say the decor is fantastic. As for kid-friendliness, kids will probably feel like they’re in Bikini Bottom!

We spent 2.5... read more The food was outstanding, as it always is. However, I've noticed that when we come as a group, the service from the waitstaff tends to be lacking. We spent 2.5 hours there, and our waitress only checked on us about four times. We had to flag down other staff members to get our drinks or even make trips to the bar ourselves. Furthermore, they really need to improve their air conditioning or at least get some additional fans. There was only one fan, and it did little to relieve the heat. It was hard to enjoy the meal while sweating the entire time.

The ambiance was cha... read more We dined here last night after a less-than-satisfactory experience at a nearby restaurant, and we were absolutely delighted with our visit! The ambiance was charming, the drinks were excellent, and the specials were remarkable. Our server was incredibly attentive, too. The smoked red snapper dip was a perfect match for the wontons, and I thoroughly enjoyed the crab-stuffed grouper! The bisque at the bottom was simply divine—chef's kiss! Thank you for a wonderful evening, and we can’t wait to return soon.
