Wonderful brunch, with old favorites and some intriguing twists. Love the decor in the round dining room! Like being inside an aquarium. Great complement to a visit with Gulf Specimen a couple blocks away. I plan to go back and try the lunch menu soon. What Thomas Carlisle dislikes about Trident:
The food was excellent but a little pricey. I had an extremely good ribeye with lobster chunks on top. One of the best steaks I’ve had in quite a while. I know it is a seafood place but don’t sleep on the steak! My wife had fish tacos which were pretty good. Their cheese grits are also excellent. The atmosphere: the restaurant itself is very large with excellent views of Dickerson Bay but it is incredibly loud inside... View all feedback.

The food was outstanding, as it always is. However, I've noticed that when we come as a group, the service from the waitstaff tends to be lacking. We spent 2.5 hours there, and our waitress only checked on us about four times. We had to flag down other staff members to get our drinks or even make trips to the bar ourselves. Furthermore, they really need to improve their air conditioning or at least get some additional fans. There was only one fan, and it did little to relieve the heat. It was hard to enjoy the meal while sweating the entire time.
We dined here last night after a less-than-satisfactory experience at a nearby restaurant, and we were absolutely delighted with our visit! The ambiance was charming, the drinks were excellent, and the specials were remarkable. Our server was incredibly attentive, too. The smoked red snapper dip was a perfect match for the wontons, and I thoroughly enjoyed the crab-stuffed grouper! The bisque at the bottom was simply divine—chef's kiss! Thank you for a wonderful evening, and we can’t wait to return soon.

This is our outstanding go-to date night spot! Thursdays are a treat with their $12 appetizers—we never miss the Tuna Poke, a must-have. My absolute favorite is the Stuffed Grouper, a dish so delectable you 'll want to savor every last bite. While it 's on the pricier side, the flavors are worth every penny—you might just find yourself licking the plate clean! The atmosphere is fantastic, and surprisingly for a seafood restaurant, they serve one of the most unforgettable burgers you 'll ever taste: The Beast. It 's truly exceptional! Absolute perfection! The quality, quantity, vibe and view were on point. This will be part of our restaurant rotation and worth the drive from Keaton Beach. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Headed to the coast to see the sunset. Ordered the lobster cakes, tuna poke, the lobster truffle ravioli and a mocktail. It was a wonderful time. The sweet bartender downstairs played us whatever music we liked. Love her. Congratulations on Backwoods Crossing getting on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives.
