Found lunch. And it was very good. And not because of what happened next. Never before in my wide travels have I had a member of the staff, my waitress Kelly to be specific, came up to me after my meal and said, I want you to know I paid for your lunch. Two stars because of how rude the staff was. The lady treated my wife my friend and his 3 children horrible. His children were well behaved better than most adults. No loud noises etc so zero justification on rude service. Went to order the platter and wanted 3 ribs instead of mixing meat and she got angry and said we couldn't do that even though it's not said on the menu you can't it just says pick what you want. I’ve been living in the lake for three years and this place is bland I’ve worked in a lot of kitchens my Mac n cheese always has a clump of cheese melted from the microwave on top not pleasing my salad was so drenched in dressing it was not edible at all….this Whole RESTAURANT has no flavor u have to use sauce the workers are rude and u don’t feel welcome unless ur old and white place sucks the food is horrible all of it nothing I’ve had yet was good bbq in ya hard save ya money
No photos this time, as the brisket looked and smelled so good as it arrived we had to get right into it! From the outdoor smokers to great service inside, Wahoo BBQ is the real deal!

Fantastic pulled pork BBQ, smoked right on site. Good choices of sauces. Excellent bar choices, including a wide selection of tap and bottled beer, a decent cocktail menu, and extensive bourbon selections. Friendly bartenders and customers. I watched a pool tournament going on and there were some pretty talented players.
I have been aware of Wahoo BBQ for a decent amount of time now from my frequent listening of 3WV Radio. I was helped plentifully and treated with much kindness. Although the service rocked, I wasn?t a big fan of the food or the costs. They have sauces that are either very vinegar based or super tomato-ee. I tried their signature, ?Acho? sauce (refrigerated level cold) and it didn?t really change my mind. I would recommend people to at least try it, it isn?t that bad. I just didn?t like the pulled pork bbq sandwich or the mac and cheese myself. If I were to return, I?d try their baby back ribs and the french fries instead.
