When I walked in I was transported to cool café I once visited in New Orleans in the early 90's. Jeny was professional, yet kind and cool. The warmed cranberry-orange muffin was perfect with the hot chamomile citrus tea. Although no one obviously touched me, I felt that I was in a spa setting with the perfect volume of jazz playing in the background. I can't wait to visit again! View all feedback.
What Christian Gonzales doesn't like about Jeny's Java Joint:
Came in expecting an overall higher experience than I received based on previous reviews. We ordered an iced coffee and two croissants and were overcharged for some reason. They ran out of ice so our drink was not as great as it could have been. They were out of a lot of the pastries we were wanting to try which was a bummer. I went in with high expectations based on previous reviews, but my experience didn’t quite meet them. We ordered an iced coffee and two croissants, and for some reason, we ended up being overcharged. They had run out of ice, which made our drink less enjoyable than it could have been. Additionally, many of the pastries we wanted to try were unavailable, which was disappointing. The space is quite cramped, and neither of the employees were wearing masks, which made me a bit uncomfortable. Maybe I just visited on a tough day for them.
Jenny’s is amazing! They have fantastic homemade pastries and, of course, excellent coffee. Be sure to try the croissants!
I discovered this place while visiting a friend, and I'm glad I did! The pastries were delicious, and they had some excellent vegan options as well. Plus, the coffee was outstanding.
This charming little coffee shop is fantastic! It was quite busy during my visit, but the barista managed to serve everyone promptly. My iced coffee was outstanding, and there were plenty of flavored syrups to choose from. The food also looked delicious, so I’ll definitely have to come back to sample some!
Upon entering, I was instantly reminded of a fashionable café I frequented in New Orleans in the early '90s. Jeny was both professional and friendly, contributing to the warm and inviting atmosphere. The warm cranberry-orange muffin was a delightful complement to the hot chamomile citrus tea. Although no one physically interacted with me, the ambiance felt nearly spa-like, enriched by the gentle sounds of jazz playing softly in the background. I'm eagerly looking forward to my next visit!
