Calamida has got to be the best located restaurant in Palermo where we sat and watched the fishing boats land their catch only a matter of metres from where we were eating.We ate at other Good eating places but always finding ourselves walking back around the marina to this exceptional restaurant.If you enjoy food it really is a must visit.

The quay was full of strolling locals including young families. We could also view the lunar eclipse over the harbor but while I can promise boats and babies the eclipse was a one-time only event. The food and service added to a festive, even fascinating evening. Pretty typical fish and pasta dishes but there's nothing wrong with that!

The fish stew was very good and the swordfish was tasty and cooked just right. The pasta with clams was very good too. Great place for a view, atmosphere and a great meal.
