No frills Viet as expected fron the suburbs. Not a lot of choice out here, and this does the job just fine - indeed, it is most welcome in amongst the charcoal chicken and Gloria Jeans.Small and ecstatically lit, predictable is the key to Pho Padstow. Our trip was spoiled by a kid carrying on and on and on. I don't know how the owners put up with it, let alone the parents. Baby and I couldn't leave fast enough after s... View all feedback.
The Pho at this restaurant is amazing! It's affordable and has a great atmosphere. This is my favorite spot for Vietnamese food in the area. I highly recommend it, and I've tried Pho at many places in Sydney.
Had a Friday dinner on a cold windy night and tried out the beef brisket pho plus the pork spring rolls. Flavour was pretty good but found the pho lacking volume of meat but this might be a reflection of the price they charge at $10. It's a very small aree and probably can accommodate no more 15 to 20 seats maximum but being in the suburbs it is sufficient. Definitely want to come back for the stir fries as it looked pretty good from other patrons that ordered these dishes.
For a restaurant to base its reputation on a pho it’s not really in the same league as so many other local Bankstown Vietnamese restaurants. Very little meat only about 5 tiny basil leaves and no soy sauce or pepper and salt? The food is fresh and the restaurant is clean and no issues with service but head elsewhere if you want more authentic Vietnamese
Always a go to place for us. Great food and welcoming atmosphere! The prices are amazing and we will be back next time we are in Padstow:
This Vietnamese restaurant in the suburbs is no-frills, exactly as you would expect. While there may not be a lot of dining options in the area, Pho Padstow gets the job done well. Located among charcoal chicken and Gloria Jeans, the small and brightly lit restaurant offers a predictable dining experience. Unfortunately, our visit was marred by a disruptive child whose behavior was tolerated by the owners and parents alike. Despite this, my companion and I quickly finished our meal and left.
