We decided in a few minutes whether to eat or not at this place after a friend gave me advice. We hopped onthe car and drove for about 30 minutes in direction of Colli Euganei. Once we got there we found a steep hillroad to defy, along with a certain amount of fog, and finally got to a wide parking lot. The restaurant is old-style fashioned, not very up to date, but cozy and warm as all typical place. We ate excellent polenta with fungi and veggies, bigoli (sort of spagheti) with duck sauce and meat, sausages bites with peperoni reduction, polenta, black truffle and fungi and finished with a supreme dish... Last was a couple of quails rolled up in a bacon sheet and black rice at its side. Top class

The location already earns this restaurant 5 stars, but I was really surprised by the menu. Choices ranged from caponata, traditionally a southern Italian dish which is hard to find here in the north, to gnocchi to pasta with porcini mushrooms. The location is famous for its meat dishes, but as I vegetarian I still had plenty of choices. The table wine is good and the view is spectacular!
