Lunch is even better when they are complimentary. Thanks to a recently sponsored invite to their new branch in Makati, I got a certificate for a free Butao, their signature tonkotsu pork broth. I got to use it today and paired it with lightly flavored sesame cucumber and tamago eggs. I got Butao on its almost default form, spicy 1, normal everything and without add ons. The noodles were silky smooth, soup seasoned just right and its tasty pork shoulder melt in your mouth. This order remains one of my favorite noodle bowls to slurp. Have you tried it? Priced at Php 390, it could be one of the wisest purchases for that amount. Currently, Ramen Nagi is featuring Pinoy ramen flavors. Have you heard of Manila Kings? These are Binagoongan King, Bicol Express King, and Cheesy Caldereta King. Sadly they end today. They do however launch other kinds from to time. So let's wait? alwayshungry.ph
My go-to ramen place. Still the best ramen for me. I like how you can choose how your ramen is to be done, e.g. Spiciness, firmness of the noodles, etc. ❤️❤️❤️
Situated inside the Robinson's Ermita mall, the restaurant seemed to have an open street food ambience. My friend and I went on hoping for a welcome feeling as we walked in the restaurant but we received none. The service crew seemed unhappy that there were new customers coming in. Well, that was how we at least felt. We didn't feel comfortable in our seats as the tables were so near each other and there was little elbow room. From the start, the service crew reminded us we could not take out any food we ordered. As soon as we got our orders and ate we saw flies hovering about our food. We then became scared crazy driving them away. Already stuffed and couldn't finish our food, we then asked for the bill. That time we saw flies alight on our food. The service crew came and asked if we would take the food home. My friend and I looked at each other and said "Earlier they said we couldn't take the food out." But we thanked her anyway and said no after seeing flies feasting on our food. LOL! The place lacked cleanliness. We felt that the food was pricey too. The food was tasty but sad to say, I was not impressed!

A friend of mine highly recommended this place (actually, Ramen Nagi in general). When we got there it was about closing time but the staff was very accommodating and led us to our table. Nothing special about the rstaurant design since it's in a mall and you just basically see the MALL. lol However, the food was amazing. Totally enjoyed our dinner. I ordered chicken karaagi & rice then my friend ordered the original King. Im not much into Ramen, but their Ramen was quite tasty.. The chicken karaagi looked simple and ordinary however the dip was to die for. The chicken & dip perfectly complement each other. I love it!!! Looking forward to going back there... Maybe another branch??? I really didn't like the place.. seeing people pass by while you eat.. This resto could have gotten a 4.5 but the place took 1 whole point. ;) Please check out my photos...
