The beer is good and there is a small variety of food options available. You can also bring your own pizza from Cruiser's pizza to enjoy with your beer. The atmosphere is cozy and has a rustic feel, with wooden stools adding a nice touch to the decor. View all feedback.
What Ashley doesn't like about Packwood Brewing Co.:
The rice bowl is more like a rice cup. About a third the size of a chipotle bowl. For $15. My friend got a rice bowl and was still very hungry afterward, but not willing to pay for more overpriced food. Overheard other people with this same complaint. I almost felt like I should warn people in line as a public service lol. I got the steak quesadilla for $15 and it was moderately filling. I also got an Arnold Palmer (... View all feedback.
The restaurant has a charming atmosphere both indoors and outdoors. The beer selection was impressive, with a standout being the delicious sour bing cherry beer.
After hiking Helen's, we decided to stop at this restaurant and were blown away by the delicious beer and chorizo nachos. It was the perfect meal to satisfy our appetite! We also enjoyed the opportunity to sit outside and listen to live music.
Great beer, nice outdoor seating, but the food was just okay. They have nachos, tacos, quesadillas, etc. They all lacked any kinda spice though, which made the flavors kinda bland. The quesadilla also felt like it was smothered with cheese. Don't get me wrong, I love cheese. But it just seemed like it was more cheese than meat. The beer is absolutely great though.
Food is a bit of a letdown: for $15 you can get 2 tortillas, maybe 1/2 lb. cheese, a sprinkling of meat, and 2oz. green salsa. No rice, beans, etc. you would expect with a Mexican food order..which happens to be the only thing they serve. Tacos, nachos, and quesadillas. Or a pretzel. In the quick food line, the server was noticed to be serving up plates of food while wearing no gloves or using any utensils to handle things like bread, hot dogs, etc. No screens on doors or windows, many files in building floating around kitchen and dining areas. Overall overpriced and overrated...would not return or recommend dining here.

I also got an Arnold Palmer (made with minute made lemonade). Street tacos are $5-6 each. Nachos seemed like the best value. Bottom line: This place is making a killing off of overpriced mediocre food! Good for them. The vibe is great (both inside and outside). The inside smelled strongly of cleaning product, so we ate outside.
