We stayed at the motel and ate breakfast in the restaurant, so I leave a small description of both: I would give the restaurant a 5-star rating. It was great breakfast food and service. They offered a lot of variety, with many standard and other unique options. Service was great and we were both very satisfied with the meal. I'd give the motel a 3.5-star rating. We stayed in room 5 (with the king bed). Also, just one head up for summer travelers, there were no A/C in the room (not a big thing for us, though, as the weather was nice. It was obvious that they had a lot of care in the room (it appeared well kept, and many of the regular amenities were available (like Mini Shampoo and several towels. However, it was very obsolete, with thick brown carpet and blankets that looked like they were present for several decades. After the first shock to see the room, it was not a bad stay though... the bed was comfortable, much warm water and felt safe. Good for travelers looking for a cheap room while passing through the city.
Excellent food! We went through and stopped for lunch. We had a great burger and a large grilled chicken burger. Everything seemed really fresh (leaved salad, tomatoes and onion were fresh cut. Weapons are delicious. Next time we can go through Randle.
Great, friendly service. Excellent food (had a grilled chicken sandwich, prepared exactly as requested), and GREAT PIE. My dad had strawberry rhubarb and I had lemon meringue. Both were DIVINE. Must stop if you're on a motorcycle ride around Mt. Rainier.
