Tucked into an unassuming red building in Pacifica, this remodeled sushi spot delivers standout salmon sashimi, crisp gyoza, reliable tempura, udon and teriyaki, plus quick takeout and a lively happy hour. Expect a casual, intimate atmosphere with loud Japanese music and friendly servers at times, but also inconsistent service, staff turnover, smaller-than-before rolls and rising prices—some dishes have been mislabeled. Best for sushi lovers who want to sample multiple flavorful rolls; order two or more per person.

The interior is quite chic, although the exterior appears a bit rundown. The food is excellent and beautifully prepared. The service is good, and everything tastes super fresh. I visited during their happy hours from 4:30 to 6 PM, but I mostly ordered off the menu. I sat at the sushi bar, where there were two chefs. They offer a large menu, and I was particularly interested in trying some unique dishes. They also have a selection of wine, beer, and sake, although I didn't have any drinks this time. I would definitely recommend this place and will return when I'm back in the area. My chef was Andy.

This restaurant is situated at the end of the street, with convenient parking available right out front. The interior is quite charming and inviting. Our server promptly brought us water, which was appreciated. While the prices per roll seemed reasonable, I was surprised at how much smaller they were than I had anticipated. We didn't feel satisfied with our usual order, and I ended up having to place a second order to feel full. Overall, it was a good experience.

The pricing was quite reasonable for what we received. However, the waiter didn’t check on us despite the restaurant being empty, and it was difficult to get his attention when we wanted the bill. I decided to try some random rolls from the menu just to explore new options, and they turned out to be delicious! The restroom was also very clean and had a pleasant smell. Overall, it’s a nice place.

My boyfriend and I were in the area and googled Sushi places in the area. Thought we’d check this place out due to the positive reviews. The place is located in a Prime spot; however.. the outside kinda looks like a run down shack would recommendbetter signage. Walking inside the place was extremely clean; simple, and we were greeted by Marco. Our server was friendlyand knowledgeable about the sake choices. The nigiri/sashimi was tasty; hot lady and spicy tuna roll were good on spice factordespite the smaller sized rolls compared to other sushi places we have ventured to such as Fuji in West Portal and SushiConfidential in Campbell. Overall…Marco was funny friendly and very hospitable with his offering of another bottle of nigorion the house but we declined since my boyfriend was driving Instead Marco had brought out some mango mochi ice cream with abeautiful presentation. Great way to end our day! Thank you to Marco and our great server!
