The tasting of fish was excellent!!! Wilde selection , beautifully presented dishes, delicious taste. Would prefer menu on paper as a QR code misses oversight. We recommand a diner at Piccolo Borgo!
A fantastic find at this restaurant in Paceco, a town near Trapani that's worth a visit for its sheer beauty. We ordered sardine meatballs, pasta with Trapani pesto, and truffled beef. The local wine recommended by the waitress was excellent. I highly recommend a visit.
A fantastic restaurant, located just off the main square of Paceco. The menu is both surprising and exciting, featuring classic dishes prepared perfectly and interesting reimagening with a unique twist. Each dish is served beautifully, with fresh and locally sourced ingredients. The ambiance is calm and pleasant, with beautiful balcony seating (weather permitting). Also interesting is the tasty menu of the day, with simpeler plating and recipes for those who prefer a smaller price tag. Highly recommended is the degustatione di mare antipasta, consisting of multiple smaller plates of beautiful and delicious dishes.
This restaurant had a nice room with soft appropriate dinner music. It was the perfect spot to enjoy a lovely dinner for 2. We specifically chose it because it was outside of the centre. The service was good and the food was nicely presented. They really worked hard to have a modern presentation. What brought my rating down was the guy (who I think was the owner) sitting a few tables away and insisted on watching videos loudly with no consideration for any of the other diners in the room. It was truly disrespectful and insensitive. Most people who go out for a nice dinner do so to enjoy the food, not having to prepare it and the ambiance which in this case was ruined by one individual.
We spent only one night in Paceco as a stopover so we could do some sightseeing in nearby areas. Paceco is a pretty tiny town with no real “claim to fame,” so we were pleasantly surprised to find Piccolo Borgo. We went for dinner based on the TA recommendations and the suggestion of our host. It has a beautiful contemporary seating inside, and wonderful food!! We shared a Sardine, pistachio and orange cream starter, then followed that with two pasta dishes: Trenette with shrimp and truffles, and Bucatini with swordfish, zucchini and almonds. Both we’re excellent!
