Absolutely delicious—I forgot to take a picture! I always love Firehouse Subs, and honestly, the two best subs on their menu are the Brisket Sandwich and the Turkey Bacon Ranch!
I keep giving all the Firehouse locations a chance, but I'm always let down. I try a different sub each time, and tonight I opted for the steak and cheese. I’ll admit, I removed the mayo and mustard because I think they ruin a steak and cheese sub. Unfortunately, what I ended up with was the driest steak and cheese sub I've ever had. Other places usually make them cheesy and greasy, which is what makes them enjoyable. I won't be returning to Firehouse again.
We visited Firehouse Subs in Pensacola two weeks ago, and today we decided to try the location in Pace for a comparison. We were happy to discover that the food quality was consistently good, which is always encouraging! I ordered the New York sandwich with Swiss cheese and a small potato soup, while my wife chose the Turkey and Bacon sandwich with chips. The food was delicious; however, we were a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the restroom, so I would rate it a 5 out of 10. Cleanliness is important, especially these days. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend visiting. Our total bill came to $25.00, which we rounded up to donate to the Fire Department.
