I keep giving all the Firehouse locations a chance, but I'm always let down. I try a different sub each time, and tonight I opted for the steak and cheese. I’ll... read more I keep giving all the Firehouse locations a chance, but I'm always let down. I try a different sub each time, and tonight I opted for the steak and cheese. I’ll admit, I removed the mayo and mustard because I think they ruin a steak and cheese sub. Unfortunately, what I ended up with was the driest steak and cheese sub I've ever had. Other places usually make them cheesy and greasy, which is what makes them enjoyable. I won't be returning to Firehouse again.

We were happy to discover that the food... read more We visited Firehouse Subs in Pensacola two weeks ago, and today we decided to try the location in Pace for a comparison. We were happy to discover that the food quality was consistently good, which is always encouraging! I ordered the New York sandwich with Swiss cheese and a small potato soup, while my wife chose the Turkey and Bacon sandwich with chips. The food was delicious; however, we were a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the restroom, so I would rate it a 5 out of 10. Cleanliness is important, especially these days. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend visiting. Our total bill came to $25.00, which we rounded up to donate to the Fire Department.

Sometimes, items can be overlooked when ordering ahead, but overall the food is flavorful. The restaurant is usually not very busy or crowded.
