I’ve eaten in this place dozens of times over the last several years. I can’t think of anything that I have had that was bad. Obviously, some dishes are better than other dishes, but non have been bad. Love the cornbread in there peach cobbler and the chicken fingers. The prices are reasonable. Not the cheapest, not the most expensive, and you get a good size helping! I left a special, kept her one time, and I kept i... View all feedback.
What Monica P doesn't like about Hoppergrass:
Super disappointed that all indications were this restaurant was open. There at minimum 10 cars of patrons that pulled up and asked us if Hoppergrass was going to open today?. Not sure the issue but an update to your website and a note on the door should be considered. Unfortunate this seems to be par for the course in Ozark AL and Daleville. A restaurant that is open consistently and serves a variety of breakfast pl... View all feedback.
I love everyone in there. It's a great atmosphere to eat in. There are times I want 2nds. The cooks are phenomenal. The food is really good. I wish just there was 2nds... And I wish when they do chicken there were more choices than 4 different ways to serve chicken. That's all. It means I have to choose chicken. Parking: It's an open parking plaza so there is lots of parking. It's So good there.. it can get packed. Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level
I was extremely disappointed to find that this restaurant was closed, despite all indications suggesting it was open. At least ten cars of customers arrived and asked us if Hoppergrass would be opening today. I'm not sure what the issue is, but updating your website and putting a note on the door would be helpful. Unfortunately, this seems to be a common problem in Ozark, AL, and Daleville. A restaurant that is consistently open and offers a variety of breakfast dishes and entrees would be a huge success. I understand this is the South, but not everyone spends all day in church on Sundays.

In terms of food, I would rate it a solid 4 out of 5, while the service deserves a 5 for its attentiveness. The atmosphere also scores a 5, making it an enjoyable place to eat. I highly recommend trying the Whole Catfish!
