Description

**Dining at The Haycutter: A Mixed Bag of Experiences**

The Haycutter is a vibrant pub that offers a blend of delightful dining and a welcoming atmosphere. While prices per person range from £20 to £50, reviews reveal a variety of experiences. Guests praised the attentive staff and beautiful decor, often highlighting the standout sticky toffee pudding. However, some dishes, like the seafood stew, left diners disappointed due to excessive bulking with cheaper ingredients. Despite occasional inconsistencies in food quality, the pub remains an inviting spot for a cozy drink, especially with its dog-friendly policy and ample outdoor seating, making it a perfect escape from unpredictable British weather.

Always packed out on weekends so I thought the food would be better, not as good as it was 2 years ago. £23 for a cod loin with seafood stew turned out to be mainly potatoes, I dont eat or like potatoes so a waste of money for a disappointing plate of food. My friend had the salmon with lentils and veg, looked nice but there were so many lentils she left most of them. Bulking out a dish with the cheapest ingredient seems to be the thing now days, typical of British pubs I suppose but charging as much as possible. Staff were friendly as always but seems to be better to order basic things like the steak Baguette or snack bits here. Best for drinks as super dog friendly and a nice place to hide from awful british weather. Price per person: £30–40

The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The decor was also lovely. The staff were very helpful. The price per person ranges from £40 to £50. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5. I highly recommend the pudding. There's plenty of parking available, with a free parking lot nearby.
