We stopped by to meet some friends and enjoyed a long walk through the nearby woods. After that, we returned to the pub and relaxed with drinks in the garden. The pub offers an excellent selection of beers and spirits, and the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. There is a spacious dining area, and the food presentation is very appealing. Overall, it’s a lovely pub set in a beautiful location. View all feedback.
This beautiful pub was recommended by several people and my partner and I finally visited. the personal was charming, wein good, but I can't comment on beer as I was just driving on soft drinks. menu appears to give a venue a cut above its average gastropub, so we go back and eat there briefly, then I can update this review.
We met friends here as it was half way between both of us and we had a really good experience. The food was delicious. We especially liked the pork belly bites and the smoked garlic hummus and flat bread.
Nice pub. Great food and friendly atmosphere. Helpful stuff.
Lovely family and dog friendly pub. Staff were lovely. Service a little slow but it was a busy Saturday lunchtime. Food was excellent for a pub. I had the duck stir fry a wonderful mix of flavours, good chilli kick and the duck was tender and succulent. The passion fruit crème brûlée was one of the best I've had and the scoop of zingy sorbet complimented the taste well. Will definitely visit again when I'm in the area.
