Nestled in an Oxnard strip mall, a small Japanese restaurant offers a mixed dining experience. While some patrons rave about the authentic flavors, cozy ambiance, and impressive menu featuring options like tempura shrimp rice bowls and vegan selections, others express disappointment over quality and service. Issues such as burnt dishes and inattentive staff led to frustration for some families. Despite these critiques, several diners highlight the inviting atmosphere and reasonable prices, noting the quick service as a plus. For those seeking comfort food, this spot presents both a potential hit or miss, making it worth a visit with cautious optimism.

Hidden gem They serve a small array of Japanese food and do them fairly well. I was really surprised by their katsu, juicy and crispy. They have a really great lunch special that's perfect both in serving size and price. Staff is great as well. View all feedback.
What Eric Boyer dislikes about Ozeki Noodle:
Not a place I would return to. Sushi isn't very good.Gyoza deep fried( never had them that way) they were fried to the point of burnt. Spicy pork is just pork with jalapeños in it. Very pain. It's Oxnard. So I didn't expect much and wasn't given much.Food: 2/5 View all feedback.

As authentic as it gets in Oxnard. Besides few sushi and noodle dishes this place also offers bento and had two options for kids.Food: 5/5
I would give this place zero stars if I could. The food was garbage. I spent $38 on disgusting yakisoba chow mein that was the worst I've ever tasted. It tasted like burnt oil, super nasty. Save your money and stay away from this place. It's not worth trying.
This is my go to place for a warm bowl of soup. I know it might seem intimidating, but give it a try. I've tried many of their dishes (Tori Udon, Nabeyaki, Curry udon, Hiyashi Gomoku salad, and more) and everything is always super yummy and doesn't disappoint. If you are eating-in be prepared to feel a bit awkward. This place is super quiet and you can at times hear other people's conversations. And I'm pretty sure they can also hear yours. It would be nice if the owners would put some music or turn the TV on- just to make it less awkward.
