Hubbard's Off Main - Oxford

The owner is very nice, the place was clean and the food was delicious and affordable. We highly recommend the service was phenomenal.

Great place to stop close to I-20 in a charming southern town. We stopped in for lunch. I had a fried chicken breast (not bone-in) with a delicious BLT side salad and an amazingly creamy macaroni cheese. My husband had a mushroom and Swiss burger on a toasted bun that he felt was just ok. He also got the macaroni cheese and loved it. The service was quick and prices reasonable. The menu was a Saturday brunch menu with less options. We would stop in again if ever coming through.

First time visiting was Saturday for lunch based on Google reviews. Atmosphere was wonderful... that 's where the niceties ended. Turned out the waitress said there was a party next door, and they apparently took priority over dining room customers. We were told that they only had their Brunch menu available, not their regular lunch menu that was advertised. Took an eternity to get our food. Wife had catfish filet with mac cheese and harcourt verts. Fish turned out to be nuggets. The tarter sauce was literally mayo. When she asked the server about the sauce, her reply was that 's what the food truck gives us to serve! My chicken and waffles were two small overly sweetened waffles with three way over cooked dry chicken fingers. The only saving grace was the sweet hot sauce the waitress offered after noticing I wasn 't eating them. Hopefully this was a large party snafu that does not get repeated often!

Love the old pictures and the decor. Our server/waitress was amazing and genuine. The food was well prepared and presented.
