Description

Nestled on the edge of Loch Eport and boasting stunning views of Ben Eaval, our charming former shooting lodge has been beautifully transformed into a cozy small hotel. With over two decades of experience under the same management, we pride ourselves on offering a distinctive hospitality experience that combines warmth and comfort. At our lodge, we have honed our dining offerings to highlight the finest local ingredients, seafood, and game, creating enticing lunch and evening menus that reflect the abundance of our surroundings. We invite you to make your dining experience seamless by reserving our bar tables for on the hour and half past the hour, or booking our restaurant tables for quarter past and quarter to the hour. The original lodge has been thoughtfully modernized to enhance the breathtaking views while maintaining a light and airy ambiance. Our newly constructed hillside rooms provide exceptionally high-quality accommodation, all while celebrating the timeless charm of traditional Highland style. Our extensive grounds make the lodge an ideal getaway for guests traveling with dogs. We welcome canine companions in all public areas, with the exception of the restaurant. From 10am onwards, residents and non-residents alike can relax with tea, coffee, and delightful cakes in our bar, conservatory, and garden. For your convenience, please be aware that Sat Navs may guide you down the Locheport township road rather than the Langass road. If you pass Shoreline Stoneware, you’ll know you’re on the wrong path! Simply backtrack, take a right onto the main road, and then the next right next to the salmon hatchery. Follow the signs for Langass Lodge, and you’ll discover us tucked away at the bottom. We look forward to welcoming you to our little slice of Highland paradise!.

We had lunch and then returned for dinner the next night. The food was exquisite, and the ambiance was delightful. Definitely make a reservation in advance. We visited in October, and the restaurant was quite busy. The hotel is situated in a stunning location, somewhat remote and accessed via a bumpy single-track road.

We had a fantastic dinner at this restaurant. The menu featured an array of beautifully presented dishes. We particularly enjoyed the exquisite seafood. The service was excellent, and the dining area was very elegant. Be sure to make a reservation online!

Beautiful lodge with amazing restaurant. image of the outer look dated, but within it is a really nice place decent size en-suite room and a fantastic view over ben eaval in the far away, and an old stone circle approx. 250m away

Beautiful location ....staff efficient, friendly, but they seemed to be on autopilot not reacting to answers from the questions they asked.. Had GF fish and chips tasted ok but was served warm on a cold plate...

This was our second visit, and it was just as fantastic as the first. The menu is full of delicious options, making it hard to decide what to order. We started with scallops and shared squid and chips for our main course. Both dishes were cooked to perfection—the fish was incredibly light, and the batter was very crispy. The homemade tartar sauce was the perfect finishing touch. Every penny spent was worth it!
