On 09.02.2020, friends invited me to the Maicafè for the last brunch. For me who lives vegan, breakfast in the restaurant can be difficult. But not in Maicafè, because the offer was rich, fresh, has tasted well, for example various tofu varieties, fresh fruits, spreads and more, plus very friendly staff and coffee with foamed oat milk! I was happy and saturated; it was certainly not my last visit to Maicafè!
Large playground for children on the farm, enough high chairs available, friendly service. Only the selection of foods could be a little bigger. A real secret tip.

Meatberries, vegetarians and vegans can be found here. I have been living in the country for 11 years and I have always appreciated these special pearls that are no longer found in the city, for example the MaiCafé des Hofguts in Habitzheim. People are very friendly, committed and attentive, the ambience is lovingly designed in historical and not greatly altered building substance. Old wooden tables/chairs and furniture, comfortable sofas, spacious and bright rooms and coffee in the best quality made of granite dishes create a first small feel in us. The brunch is almost a station operation: orange juice itself press with an old juice press, prepare crepes according to its own gusto, the coffee table always refilled with fresh coffee and the great dishes ... then the warm, the cold, the muesli, the sweet, the vegetable plate, the RedBeete Salat, good sourdough bread, buns and croissants always present. For us, the offer was manifold enough, even with regard to the wort. Why 100 more things, what do some people complain? Less is more, especially since everything is in organic quality. In addition to the idea of sustainability, this also explains the higher price. For us reindeer women are 24, euros a lot of money, but occasionally we can do something. Then it also remains something special... and the delicious aperitif was included. We look forward to the next time!
