A very kelines but very nice restaurant on the edge of blades. Here you can eat very well and if you have eaten too much a night too. We celebrated a birthday here. We got a very nice extra room. There was a delicious buffet and the cellars were always there to offer one of the latest drinks. The restaurant is a bit remote and very quiet. Outside you can smell the forest air. What waldfeekatzekatze doesn't like about Die Schmelzmühle:
Unfriendly without end As a guest you have to beg to be served locally in emptying!!! Turnover strong customers are not liked to see We were 15!!!!! People and went back even though the restaurant was empty View all feedback.
Too bad, the cook has confused the wild boar with a carpaccio. Some confessed gentlemen have left the place really hungry. The wild boar roast was thin, was presumably warmed several times, in a lumpy fader sauce. The two pathetic claws came from the cooking bag. Even in dessert, ice cream with hot raspberries can actually not be done wrong, however, the raspberries were frozen. What high art and that for a lot of money.
Just 1 word: Super! Pizza from stone ovens fired with wood is rare. And the pizzas taste so good... Tip: Pizza Salmone (with smoked salmon). The prices are completely ok, by the way. You're welcome.
We were there with the whole family. The food was very delicious, the service friendly and fast. We had mainly asparagus, the pizza season was unfortunately not yet opened. Grandma has rejoiced through step-free access to the toilet.
For years, I heard about this place, this time on a day trip. Superleckere and almost 2 person-rich portion of Rahmchampignon on baked semmelknödeln or trout with potatoes, both with a hitherto nowhere so diverse and good (more than small) supplement salad at totally acceptable price, which I heard. The kindness, the nice interaction with each other and with all the guests by the couple Schneider topt all wishes. Thank you.
I've known the smelting mill for 40 years and I've been there again for a walk with children and dogs. The beautiful weather in February attracts you because you can really only walk in the sun and it is a good distance. Hungry and thirsty we arrived at the restaurant again at noon. Already at first glance in the menu, we noticed the high prices. A sausage with bread and sauerkraut 9,90, a field salad with red beds and cheese as an appetizer also 9,90 and as a main dish 15,90. When the food came, we all looked amazed at the plates, because even the portions were very small and not especially in taste. Beverages were also sporty with 4.50 for half a liter of colabier. The crown is the sausage with roast potatoes for children up to 12 years, 8,90 for a sausage of not more than 10 cm and as thin as my little finger, with 7 slices of roast potatoes. Our little one has just been 8 years old and under 30 seconds had cleaned the plate empty and of course still hungry. The subsequent ice had then comforted him and was the only thing to represent in the price-performance ratio. Invoice for two persons and a child was 48.60 and unfortunately no one was sick.
