The portions for the crepes were large. I got the Maple butter crepe and it was like eating a maple glazed donut. So good! The waitress actually warned us as we ordered that it was very sweet and some people can't finish it. I welcomed the advice and went for it! Glad I did! Full disclosure I ate about half of it and then switched with my wife who had the bacon cheddar crepe since we like to try each other's meals. T... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tutti Frutti:
This wasn't my first experience but it will be my last. I ordered plain pancakes and when I got them, they looked off-coloured and thin. I took a bite and they tasted off so I asked my server, (who happens to be the manager) what flavour they were because they didn't taste plain. She said they are plain and shrugged her shoulders. I stomached half of one pancake (I got 4 with my order) and then I was done - it tasted... View all feedback.
Ordered a breakfast sandwich, ate half, then the lettuce fell out of the other half and saw it was dirty, black and not washed. The other piece of lettuce was brown and wilted. Took it out and ate the sandwich, egg was over cooked and dry. When the waitress Jesse finally came around I told her and showed her the dirty black lettuce. Was told that I was only allowed to have 10% off. When I asked for at least half off because I could get sick from the other half, JESSE ACCUSED ME OF NOT WANTING TO PAY FOR THE MEAL! I told her the fruit looked old and wilted, grapefruit looked liked half chewed and wilted. She said it was just decorative. I never knew of a place that is called ALL FRUIT, TUTTI FRUTTI translated in Italian where the fruit is not fresh to eat. I the end she insisted I pay with just 10% off or she would call the cops on me. I WILL NEVER GO BACK! I never said I didn't want to pay in the beginning, I had asked if there was anything she could do, at least half off, but with only 10% off< I feel like I wasn't met in the middle and totally ripped off! For potential food poisoning, dirty salad and old fruit, half price would have been more than enough! Will never go back. It was my first time and my last time!

You must get the crepe with custard and strawberries. It was divinely delicious! They have many other toppings to choose from. Made fresh and hot in front of you.
Wish I had the sense of adventure to try something different (as there are soooo many wonderful choices) but I always go for the Eggs Benedict. The fruit is fresh and is a great finish to a super meal. Unlimited coffee refills and good service are standard. I was reassured that the Tutti Frutti in the Byward Market offers the same service, meals and presentation as those in my home town and elsewhere in Ontario. I like that feature--no surprises, just good food.

I stomached half of one pancake (I got 4 with my order) and then I was done - it tasted really bad. She was frustrated and said that everyone loves their pancakes and its just me who has a problem with it. She charged me full price and refused to amend the price of the bill, I said it was unfair as I'd only had half of one pancake and she said "Well, I'm not paying for it!"
