My friend and I went there for dinner on a Thursday. The restaurant was somewhat busy but we were attented to quickly. The owner explained to us some of the menu items and made us feel welcome. The choice of tapas is sufficient to satisfy someone looking for variety. They also offer a few platos fuertes, which we did not try. My friends Kate, Dillan, and I went out for dinner. I am giving this place 5 stars because of the exceptional waiter and the high-quality food. While we were expecting a more filling dinner, the quality of the food was outstanding. All three of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals, leaving not a crumb on our plates. The waiter, a male from Venezuela (apologies for forgetting his name!), was fantastic. He made sure we had everything we needed, provided detailed explanations, and was a pleasure to interact with. My friends tried the octopus for the first time and loved it. I opted for the goat cheese peppers, which were delicious. For dessert, we had the churro donut, which was amazing. Overall, I would highly recommend this dining experience.
I had the pleasuring of tasting a few items from the menu last night and my taste buds were absolutely delighted! In Ottawa, menus have been pretty generic. At Soca however, if you're a foodie like myself, the menu will surprise and excite you. I highly recommend the octopus salpicon and kale ravioli. Be sure to try their speciality drinks… they were delicious. Don't drink alcohol? -That's ok! I had their freshly squeezed sugarcane juice for the first time and there's just nothing like it. 100% coming back.

The staff were very helpful to explain the menu. Food was tasty and presentation wes beautiful. Best dish was the Whole fried fish it was bass. Pan was delicious.
