We came here for the $5 martini Wednesday and really enjoyed it. They had a lot of different martinis in addition to the classic. I've read comments saying they have no alcohol in them (or very little) and I personally found them to be just right. Definitely could 'feel it'. Service was fun and very attentive. Will go back for more drinks again. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Buzz Restaurant:
Insipid, pricey, unambitious food with too many adjectives. $18 cheeseburger!? Curry squash soup with a faint taste of squash and. where's the curry? Not awful, just underwhelming. But the atmosphere is really good for happy hour with the after-work crowd. Service was also just okay. View all feedback.

Saw reviews of this diner and visits on a Saturday evening. We opts for mains of the Tuna and steak. Both were delicious and served with veg etc. My husband had the cider I opted for a martini as it was on special. So good I had a second one with the delicious chocolate baignets. Really good service and chat with the manager. Thanks for the complimentary drinks! We returned for a second visit on Monday which is burger and a beer for 15$ night. Freshly made burgers and skin on fries Both visits were really good.
This was our fourth visit and what a disappointment compared to previous experiences(earlier visits were more than 2 years ago). The ambience is still pleasant and friendly; however, the "Buzz Steak Frites - AAA 6 oz hand carved petite filet steak" $(28 before tax and tip) was a disaster: the steak was significantly overcooked beyond the medium-rare that was ordered; lukewarm; not tender, nor particularly flavourful; and well shrunk from any original 6 oz size. The reference to "hand carved" meant that, after it was grilled, the chef sliced it into somewhat of a fan shape, then reheated it, making sure, it seems, that it was truly overcooked, killing off almost all remnants of pink flesh. Really! Others in the party who ordered medium rare suffered the same fate, but we were all too polite to talk about it or complain - so Canadian! The accompanying sweet potato frites (good on previous visits) were no better: too skinny and overdone. The overall presentation of the mains was not creative nor inspired. The coffee was blah.On the bright side: we still like the BYO (now only on Tuesdays, with the $5 corkage fee going to a good charitable cause;) the salmon and tuna mains were not overcooked.Sorry, but we can no longer recommend Buzz.
We really enjoyed our evening out in this charming spot. The food was absolutely delicious including dessert. The service was also exceptional.
Our family eats at The Buzz 2-3 times a year, usually for special occasions. The place is great. The service is reliably good. Friendly, polite, attentive. The food is always good. I especially like the lobster ravioli and the chicken curry. We haven't ever done it, but you can bring your own bottle on Tuesday nights. Definitely recommend this place.
