This place was ok, I expected more variety. The food is cooked well but the spicy dishes were not really spicy. An ok amount on the plate. They need more variety for sure. We would go back. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Thai Express:
Each time I got the stir fry. Flavour: ginger. The first time it was great with good variety of vegetables. Second time I was asked if I wanted it spicy. I said no, and it was spicier than my boyfriend's spicy curry...so much so I couldn't eat it. Third time the vegetable portion was more than 50% onion. Last time I asked for no onion and got a plate full of celery with a few carrots and two small pieces of green pep... View all feedback.

Food was tasty and served promptly. Clean premises. Great for take outs. Staff related well to customers
I have been having lunch or afternoon snacks for a few years now at this location. This was the first franchise under this name if I am not mistaken. There have been many others open up for the last few years such as in Barrhaven and the Hunt Club area, The food you've ordered is cooked right in front of your eyes - hot and steamy, and smells exotic! I highly recommend the Thai fried rice dishes with basil. For meat, fish is awesome! When I already have lunch and arrive there a few hours later in the afternoon, I love to order their Tom Yum soup. Spicy and hot, and so flavorful! The least interesting dishes are the thai curries. I don't find them as fresh or flavorful as other dishes or in other restaurants.
I had a variety of spicy shrimp, broccoli, noodles. Love the seasoning. Not sure if they are using MSG, but I didn't have too much of a problem.

Last time I asked for no onion and got a plate full of celery with a few carrots and two small pieces of green pepper. I asked why there were no other vegetables and was laughed at and told I "didn't ask" and that "broccoli is a flavour" (whatever that means. broccoli is not on the list of flavours on the menu for the stir fry). Then, my boyfriend found two long hairs in his general tao.
