I've got chickenadobo, it's been boneless, and secondly very scanned. I think there were only 4 or 5 pieces of chicken breast. For the price I expected a full meal, but that was more like a snack. Left hungry. View all feedback.

Enjoyed braised beef with homemade tomato sauce, garlic rice, and asparagus at this family-run Filipino restaurant in the Glebe. No liquor available but the loose-leaf tea was perfectly brewed. An outstanding coconut macaroon (a steal at $1.50) rounded off an excellent meal with friendly service.Word seems to be spreading quickly as at 6:00 on a Saturday there was a 20 minute wait for tables.
This is a fine Filipino restaurant at which my wife and I have eaten twice recently. The first time it was just the two of us but the second time we invited another couple to join us. The menu was short but everyone was very pleased with the food and service. There is also some excellent desserts which we enjoyed. We would recommend this restaurant.
Tamis Cafe in Ottawa is now one of my new favorite Ottawa restaurants! I finally stopped into this family run Filipino restaurant that opened in 2016. It is tucked away just a few doors East of Bank Street on Fourth Avenue in the Glebe. I ordered grilled adobo chicken with garlic rice and stir fry vegetables. While I waited I had a great Americano - better than Starbucks, which is my go to coffee. The grilled adobo chicken was marinated to perfection and the portion size was filling. The friendly server also brought a carafe of cold water, which is a simple yet nice touch. Before leaving I bought an assortment of desserts to go. Raw vegan chocolate cake, an amazing cheesecake with oreo crust and an assortment of cookies. I am not gonna lie - I ate them all on the weekend - everything was fantastic especially the cheesecake and the amazing coconut macaroon. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes and I am sure I will be taking a FEW desserts to go!!It is cozy small when you enter but don't let that fool you - order at the cash, sit down, relax and get ready to enjoy an amazing Filipino meal prepared and served by a family that cares about providing a quality food experience. My only mistake was to sit facing the dessert display!! I think that is the reason why I left with two boxes of desserts instead of one!!
Friendly fast service. Generous portions. Small, cozy atmosphere. Small menu, but something for everyone. Not sure if they take reservations. Great location in Glebe. Street Parking.
