The... read more Late one night we were famished and looking for a good little spot for some comfort food. My hubby and I found this place and it was Exactly what we needed. The portions were generous and we enjoyed our meal. We had the chicken pad thai. First we had beers that were served in frosty glasses which really hit the spot and then our waitress (the owner) came over and chatted with us like we'd known them forever. Since it was late we were one of the last tables and they never made us feel rushed, instead they took their time to get to know us and make conversation. It was prefect, We'll definitely be back.

They strike the right balance in spices and the ingredients are always fresh. Wonderful staff who are always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend Sukhothai!

The only thing I 'd like to point out is the food portion is too small, especially the rice amount is getting less and less than before. To be honest, I...really need 2 dishes of meal to get full. You may think I 'm a big eater, but my girl friend has the same feeling. Rice is not expensive. Why don 't you just increase the rice amount to 50%? You may say small is elegant . Well, that 's for very luxury restaurants. I really hope you could increase the rice amount a little bit. You could also increase the price accordingly. It doesn 't make sense to order 2 sets of meal to get full.
