Fun times at Shanghai. We just had a great evening out (17 of us) at Shanghai, we ordered many different dishes for our large group (2 tables), the wine list and cocktail list was great, the service was attentive and good and the food dishes were very tasty. What Alisa Predovic doesn't like about Shanghai Restaurant:
we (our family) ordered 180.00 dollars of food for my fathers 80th birthday when it came we opened up everything and put it out for everyone to help them selves .egg rolls looked like they had been re-fried and overcooked burnt ,5 of the dishes...all tasted the same the sauce was thick like paste the spring rolls were also overcooked and the nice fresh stuff inside looked like dehydrated snot i have eaten at the rest... I love the Shanghai mainly because of China Doll and the community building she does in Ottawa.
Had a good time for karaoke at Shanghai.People and staff were very friendly.Other time I was there I had takeout and was good.
I LOVE this place! I was introduced to Shanghai by a close girlfriend and her boyfriend a few years ago and to this day, it's still one of my favourite
Great food and great people! It's a great place to grab a bite to eat or just to go out for some drinks!
Great family run Establishment best crispy beef in town.
