Roger's Italian Bistro - Ottawa

I revisited Yogurty's today and I am changing my review to 5 stars. I am pleased to report that the mochi pieces were very fresh.

We loved the delicious yogurt and toppings at the restaurant, and also enjoyed the Westboro neighborhood.

This restaurant is not in a great location in the Trainyards complex and it' s relatively new. We went as a group and I had the chicken fingers and fries and they were very tasty. The spices on the fries were different and I truly enjoyed them. They could use a little bigger container for the plum sauce but I could have asked for but didn't. My friend had so cya chicken wings and fries and he said they were very tasty. My wife had a 10 inch chicken pizza and absolutely loved it. The place is not too big and it is very not cell set up and extremely clean.I will certainly go back again and hope others will go too!

Rogers Bistro is the perfect place to have a true Italian meal. The food and service is excellent and the family atmosphere ideal. Prices are acceptable, portions are good in a quiet welcoming setting. When in Ottawa head to the Trainyards and enjoy a meal at Rogers Bistro you won't be sorry.

We went to this restaurant for a work lunch with four people, but unfortunately our high hopes were dashed. Some things we did like were the Pepsi served in cans, fresh rolls (although we suspected they were not made in-house), a delicious house salad, and a store-bought chocolate layer cake for dessert. However, we were not impressed with the Mozzarella Cheese Sticks appetizer, which seemed small, processed, and tasteless. The sauce accompanying it was also unidentifiable. Our entrees arrived very quickly, indicating that they had been pre-cooked and reheated. The Seafood Alfredo was a disaster with overcooked noodles, bland shrimp, nonexistent scallops, and cheap chunks of pollock instead of crab. The Chicken Marsala and Chicken Parmigiana were deemed okay by customers, but the presentation was unappetizing and the leftovers did not reheat well. One customer even complained that the Veal Parmigiana tasted off, but the server dismissed their concerns. Overall, the experience was disappointing.
