Contribute FeedbackThis restaurant in Ottawa offers a unique vegetarian menu with gluten-free options and some delicious desserts. While some customers may find the food to be average, others appreciate the fresh and tasty dishes. The service may be a bit slow and disorganized at times, but the atmosphere is generally pleasant and welcoming. Prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes may be smaller but still satisfying. Repeat customers rave about the broccoli bechamel and other menu items that keep them coming back for more. Overall, this is a great option for vegetarians and vegans looking for a variety of choices in Ottawa.
Went here for lunch. Ordered the Bliss burger which came with chips and salsa for $10ish. The veggie burger was tasty and came with lots of fresh vegetables. The bun was hearty and did not fall apart. This place also sells Hummingbird chocolate which is quite expense be but oh so delicious. Prices are high but the food is good. Not a regular lunch spot but will visit in occasion.
Une de mes cantines preferé en villeLa cuisine est delicieuse, faite maisonDes choix vegan/végé/sans glutenService très aimable, l'endroit est accueillant avec une deco "speciale" :)
Very neat place, all vegetarian with a lot of gluten free options including some desserts! You order at the counter. Very chill environment! The food is very tasty and reasonable prices. I try and get there whenever I am in town. It seems to be a local hangout
People in Ottawa believe they have good food here and this fallacy is perpetuated by the intelligentsia, who should know better. The point is, Ottawa has the money and people and the talent to rival Montreal and Kingston ON, a small brilliant city with gorgeous cafes, bakeries eateries, some of the legendary. However, HOWEVER, Perfection Satisfaction Promise joins Table and Bread and Sons as being among the best vegetarian fare I have ever eaten! The best beet and bean burger I have ever tasted belongs to this eatery. Some of the best chai exists in the kitchens of this Sri Chinmoy-run restaurant. Of course, the desserts are also outstanding and so are their daily specials. Once you are sated with food that makes you feel good and whole, take a walk through historic Sandy Hill en route to Ottawa's downtown sites!
We tried this place yesterday, hoping for some sweet veggie food. Based on the look of the place, you'd expect inexpensive. But for almost $40 we got a couple of herbal teas, a very small veggie burger (no side) and some very ordinary peanut noodles with waaaay too much bland sauce. Honestly, any one who is at all kitchen savvy would do better much cooking at home. Also, the atmosphere here is a bit odd and religious? Not a bad thing necessarily. Just a bit surprising. We won't be back.
