One Up Cocktail Pub - Ottawa

Just came from the street when the Royal Oak staff at the bottom was unstoppable, and what luck. First amazing time. The layout was elegant, covered and comfortable; the drinks were delicious, made in many ways unique and perfect; and, the food was amazing without it too expensive (e.g. $35 steak, but also a $18 homemade pancakes and pommes). Finally, tonight they tried the first of live Friday Crooner nights with Johnny Vegas some classics. Just amazing.

We had a nice evening with cocktails and a talented jazz duo. The Nachos and Charcuterie, which we are good, the chicken of butter seemed to satisfy those who ordered it. Service was friendly, but don't go here if you're in a hurry, the service is a bit covered. That was good for us, as we were there for the atmosphere, music and drinks.

Amazing Special Events Pub! I have my 60. Birthday party held at One Up Cocktail Pub. Brittany of the managers has a great work with us regarding all the details of the event well before the big day. Everything from the music, food, drinks, cakes and decoration that we had adapted for the event was seamlessly coordinated with the staff. We had a group of almost 30 women in participation and Ellie and Colin were dedicated to taking care of us this night. They delivered first-class shelf service, very pleasant and great to anticipate our needs. The bar food we ordered was also excellent. Ellie was a very experienced bartender and with Colin's help they made fantastic martinis and other celebrity cocktails for our guests. The evening took a long time and we were never rushed or rushed to go. The venue was stylish, well illuminated and perfectly tailored to a premium feeder that included dance. I cannot thank the One UP Cocktail Pub enough for such a super event. Thank you Brittany, Ellie and Colin for an unforgettable evening.

Very cool spot above the Royal oak, they share the same menu so you know that you won't go hungry. Only downside is that it is always booked for events so goodluck getting in. I would recommend trying it out at least once!

We were pleasantly surprised to find this jazz bar in our neighbourhood! The live music was great (every Friday! , the servers were attentive and the food was better than we would have been served at a local pub. We will be back!
