Was Anonym at Nu Caribbean a mag?
We visited this Caribbean eatery for the first time and decided to give the food a try.We weren't disappointed at all and my favourite selection was the Fried Chicken and Pork ribs with beans and rice.I'd highly recommend that you give them a visit if you're looking for some spice in your life. My 'Jamaican' ;) wife and I have ordered food from here a handful of times and it's just too inconsistent. We've had good experiences, but lately more bad. We keep craving some curry goat or fried plantains and its been very disappointing lately. We won't be ordering from here again. Sorry! View all feedback.
This is a lovely family-owned Salvadorian and Caribbean restaurant! The service is friendly and the food is delicious. Their yucca fries are particularly tasty, with a crispy exterior and a moist interior. The only downside was that they had run out of Horchata by 1:30 PM when we visited. It must be a popular choice to sell out so quickly; we'll definitely have to return and give it a try again, as there aren't many places in Ottawa that offer it.
This restaurant is amazing! It's great to finally have this type of food in Kanata. I ordered the red snapper dinner, which is only available on Fridays in the typical West Indian style. It was better than my mom's cooking (but shhh, don't tell her). I look forward to going back again. The portions are good, the food is excellent, and the service is friendly. It's definitely a hidden gem.
Everything we ordered was delicious! I highly recommend the wings, curry, roti, and everything else on the menu!
Veggie and meat options are all amazing. the personal is super passionate about eating and the customer experience. order the tore roti!
