Mr. Shawarma - Ottawa

I've got upset stomach after this shawarma. I lost whole night after eating this shawarma. They should take care of freshness of ingredients.

This place has been a godsend throughout the pandemic — a steady reliable supplier of quality food for takeout customers, Staff members are delightful and warm in their welcome. The food is of quality standard and portions are plentiful. I find that one of the small combos — which include a small sandwich, a choice of salad or superb garlic potatoes plus a canned soft drink — is outstanding value and provides the equivalent of a generous evening meal. Even before lockdowns, this was an experienced takeout place, and it continues to function brilliantly. It deserves its five stars.

Huge portions for $13-$14; everything was fresh and delicious. It is The BEST Lebanese food ever I have ever ate, bet you can’t eat the whole meal in one sitting. Dogie bag or share the meal. Very courteous and charming staff.

I find that I have to temper myself in writing this, because the food was *so good* that I wanted to rave like a lunatic about it! The meat is spiced to perfection The toppings in the shawarma sandwiches are *just right* not too over filled with the vegetables and a very generous portion of meat which is what gives it the flavour that absolutely should be tried by all. Garlic spiced potatoes ? You will not have any vampires chasing after you for a good while, after eating these and this is a GOOD thing. The staff behind the counter were in a great mood they clearly enjoyed their work and enjoyed interacting with the customers, which made the experience all that much better. I highly, HIGHLY recommend you stop into Mr Shawarma for a *serious* treat to your palate and tummy!

I have been here many times since I've discovered it and it's time to spread the word. In Ottawa you have a multitude of shawarma options but this is officially my go-to. Food is always fresh, always tasty, and never dry! The shawarma sandwiches are generously put together, no shortages on ingredients! Add some garlic potatoes and you'll be be coming back for a second visit guaranteed! Start collecting points and you'll eventually earn a free meal, and That will be the best shawarma you've ever had.
