a sweet little place! we went on a Thursday by noon, it was not very busy and had the friendlyest server. the cocktails were delicious and a great to sip while on the terrace. the food was tasteful, although the portions were not excessively generous, and presented to an delightful wise. mona’s is a great place to stop for a light and summery meal View all feedback.

we ordered mona burrito and sandwich. the sandwich was ok. burrito was missing taste. service was moderate. we had to flag the waitress several times to get our order and bill. the waiters need a better training. the water was warm. please give them ice to water. it's summer. View all feedback.
Had an impromptu 53rd family lunch by accident great fun
My wife is from Mexico and she brought me to Mona’s for dinner. She said the food is just like home.The staff is lovely..the food is magnificent. The owner is also the cook. This is a treasure from Mexico in the middle of Ottawa. Don’t miss out
Excellent flavorful food and good service. Server was not as attentive as expected but friendly nonetheless. I would return to try some other dishes.
Went on a bachata night, server was really nice and kind. We were sat at a table that was really close to the sound machine and was kind of hard to listen the rest of the people in our table. Food was okay, I order tacos and corn. If you want to get a bite would be good place to go.
