Mermaid's Seafood - Ottawa

The dining experience was excellent. The seafood was fresh and reasonably priced, and the portion sizes were substantial. We ordered the fried calamari, sautéed shrimp platter, and fried sea bass, all of which were perfectly cooked. I plan to return to try the whiting, which they also offer. The only downside was that the table linens were not clean, and it took a while to get water, likely because there was only one server on duty. Overall, it was a great experience.

This is our favorite restaurant in the city! The food is always delicious and fresh, with a consistently great flavor. The restaurant is meticulously clean, which speaks volumes about the owner's pride in his establishment. It's rare to find a restaurant with such excellent service these days! The owner and staff are incredibly nice and extremely courteous. Mermaids has quickly become a family favorite, and we often find ourselves coming here!

The seafood was fantastic! The staff was very friendly. We ordered the tabbouleh, basa fish, shrimp, and calamari along with fries.

It was first tried this restaurant but will not be the last. we are coming back in definitiw! the whole food was great and very fresh. the service is very good and very nice people also. the red snapper and the sea bream are the best!

Hands down the best seafood restaurant in Ottawa! The dinner and service are always exceptional. You can pick the fish from their incredible choice of fresh fish, and have it grilled, baked or fried to your liking. Fried Red snapper, Sea bass and Whiting are our family favorite. We keep coming back to this restaurant for amazing food and friendly service.
