first time having these small eats menus. it actually worked well with us. we had a cheaper meal for the usual buffet price (we have two little kids). quality was as good as before. keep it up and can't wait to have buffet back. View all feedback.
What Lempi Hackett doesn't like about Mandarin Nepean:
This was my second visit in 3 years, first visit was a 5 stars but this time , it only deserves a two-stars, food was cold and without any good taste, quality was bad, I do not think I will be coming for a third...try View all feedback.
After more than 2 years, due to the pandemic, we could not wait to return to our favorite Chinese restaurant: the mandarin nepean. this Sunday, for lunch, it was quite busy welcoming still so warm and the service perfect. the buffets, from salads to desserts, always filled with typical and very varied dresses (good surprise to find a Clam-Chowder among the Chinese soups. I tried it was creamy and excellent.) a few new styles of sushi, a delicious shrimp ceviche (by matane a simply clogged mango salad, and in general we found all the dishes that made mandarin famous. as a feed I prepared a plate with a rehearsal of each of the five garnel recipes to choose from the buffets, accompanied by a few cold muscheln, with the clam on the side. what a start! Of course it is impossible to try everything. the personal smiles always and attentively. to participate in the buffets, customers must wear single gloves in each dining room. when customers go, the table is completely cleaned. there is enough space to avoid the buffets to avoid any jostling. I think the mandarin's call is the second to none, and I think of the next one.
6 of us went there on Sunday, 21 november. as usual the service was perfect. kellnerin was effective, her empty plates are immediately removed and water glasses are often refilled. the eating is a mix of excellent (saladen, fryed, hot dressed) too very good (all different.) large selection of foods to please everyone, this is not a special Chinese restaurant. but it has a good choice of Chinese food. what this restaurant highlights is the personal, service and love to detail (warm, damp cloth, when they start and finish, fast, friendly service, etc. when you get out, you miss all this and you could also take away from anywhere. will return definitiw.
I can't say enough about this place. it must be the best place to eat in the city and I have eaten in so-called high-end restaurants and they don't even come close to this place. Everyone is so friendly and there is...always something everyone likes.
The buffet in this restaurant was amazing. value for money, taste, total service. I loved it. can't wait to try it again.
After making me reorder because of their mistake, they made me wait for almost an hour for my order, and didnt even apologize. This is my first time to order from them, thank you for that awful experience!
