They have a new menu of 5.,95 for anything on the menu...now that could be a soup...or fish and chips.....or breakfast all day but cheap and well presented...would recommend

I just had beer (good) and the lobster dip, which was very savoury. A nice atmosphere, good service and pretty waitresses in miniskirts (I hope this is not too politically incorrect).

Great dinner tonight at Hilltop Resto Bar. I am gluten free and vegan and they were extremely accommodating to my dietary restrictions. A great variety on the menu for both veggies and meat eaters. Everything is made fresh and my dishes in particular (the El Captain and the Falafel) were loaded with flavor and were huge portions - we all took leftovers. Atmosphere was really nice and we sate closely to the fireplace. When calling ahead I ironically found an old number online for the restaurant which ended up being the owners cell. He text to say he missed the call. I told him I had already spoken to the restaurant and they were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions and we were heading there for dinner. He asked if I would send him feedback after the meal. We have been back and forth via text - now that is great customer service! Highly recommend.

The only slightly negative comment I would make is that despite the fact that we had made a reservation for 20, they weren't ready for 20 when we arrived. We had to find more tables and chairs. After that, service was very efficient. There's a varied list of food priced at $5.95 per plate and considering the low cost, the portions were quite good. Quality of the food was very good. The quesadillas were particularly tasty. Reasonable drink prices made for an economical evening out.
