Green Rebel - Ottawa

The food is great, price is a little above average, but the service is thoroughly lacking.I tried the Albert St location because the Bank street location does not have a seating area (you literally have to stand and eat;) although, perhaps that has since changed.The staff at the Albert St location need to pay less attention to each other and more attention to their customers though. The sandwich staff seemed to be having a pretty great time while me and another customer waited for our sandwiches. One of the staff threw a sandwich onto the pick-up counter and said something inaudible. The lady next to me grabbed it and left. I then waited approx 10 mins while watching the staff enjoying each other's company (and bodies) before another sandwich was tossed onto the counter and again something inaudible was muttered. I assumed that was mine. Nope it wasn't.I ordered a chicken-something on flatbread, whereas, I got a bacon-something on ciabatta bread. Not the end of the world because whatever I got tasted great so I ate it, nevertheless, but the level of service was a big detractor for me so I will likely not be back no matter how good the food is. I complained about my experience on their facebook page but my complaint and review fell on deaf ears which has added an additional layer of disappointment.

I eat here all the time at lunch time. they have great salad boxes and wraps. it's extremely delicious healthy food and filling too.

For a company that promotes itself on tasty, healthy, good food...where the heck is the nutritional information? I went on their FB page and someone asked for the info 4 years ago, and (as of 2017) still working on this project. I will not return because I really have no idea what I am getting from this place. I did buy a salad there, and felt extremely full (as if I had eaten at a fast food burger joint.) It was definitely unusual to feel that full after a salad..A big pass on this place.

The food itself is colourful and fresh, it's somewhat flavourful. Nothing exciting. For the price, you really don't get much. Quite disappointed with the portion for the price.

This is a little joint where you can get some decent salad and other light options. Not a place I'd die to go back but not bad either.
