What User doesn't like about Green Papaya:
This restaurant is the first Thai restaurant that I know that has lunch buffet which is very convenient if you want quick lunch during lunch hours. However, considering the price, there are not a lot of variety of options for Thai dishes which is disappointing. Easily the best shrimp Pad Thai in the city! Order the medium spice level if you like feeling heat to the point of sweating and needing water breaks, which is why I ask for in between mild and medium, AKA a bit spicy. Choose spicier than medium at your own risk or if you’re a spicy food aficionado.
Loved the seafood curry, good value for the price and very tasty, did feel a bit cramped sitting inside for dinner when it got busy.
Generous portions of authentic Thai food served in a traditionally-decorated locale. Plenty of vegetarian options (indicated with a green heart on the menu) that can be made vegan simply by removing egg, as dairy is not traditionally a part of Thai cuisine. Standard prices. Very quick service, even on busy evenings. Nice location in Little Italy with plenty of street parking nearby (free evenings after 5:30pm and weekends).Parking: Plenty of street parking available. A quaint restaurant with cute decor ! We came here on a Sunday evening and it was quiet. Our server was very attentive and we loved every dish we ordered. Definitely going to be one of our new go to Thai restaurants.
Great restaurant with fresh fast service. Stopped in before a play at The Gladstone. The Green Curry was devine with a lovely level of spice Beef waterfall salad was fresh and generous. Lovely patio overlooking Preston. Service was attentive and friendly.
