Carlo's Pizzeria - Ottawa

I've had a enough pizza in the city. I reserved my review for Carlos until I tried a few things out. The lasagna was better than any delivery lasagna I've had although it lacked the standard tinny metallic taste in the sauce ;)I tried the burger, I hate to say it but it was more enjoyable than a hipster burger. On yet another occasion, I ordered 2 donairs. It was the freshest pita I have ever had and the sauces were great. I always get all sauces). Pizza was great too, nice amount of dried and ground fennel seed in the sauce. I reserved my five star rating until this place gave me the trifecta. I've had pizza at places I like but if you feed me those s-shaped chicken strips on a bun and call it a Volvo sub, were finished)

The Best..... I discovered this place after relocating to the neighbourhood and it's definitely the BEST PIZZA IN TOWN! Simply put, the ingredients are always so fresh, the sauce is to die for, the cheese is real and tasty and I enjoy the option of thin crust as well. The lady on the phone is always nice when I order, they are reliable with time and they give the pick up customers a discount for coming in. I've been to many pizza places in several cities including Ottawa, and it is simply the best I've ever tasted, even better than the fancy fake pizza restaurants you can find in the city. I am always ordering from this place when I feel like eating truly authentic pizza...

Best sauce ever. Just moved to Ottawa, and decided to try this place based on the reviews. So glad I did! Got a pepperoni pizza, the sauce was probably the best I've ever had. A bit heavy on the cheese, adding to a lot of greasiness, but overall I really enjoyed it. Wish it was a bit cheaper, though!

Our Friday ritual for years. This is absolutely the best you 'll have. Ask for the 'carlos special '. Loaded with fresh ingrediants.

We love Carlos pizza! It’s a weekly staple at our home. We always order the plain cheese pizza. It’s soooo good. Better than any of the big chains. The pizza comes with a free drink and lollipops for the kids.
