Cafe Delice - Ottawa

After several years of trying different coffee shops in Ottawa, this one stands out as one of the most reliable choices. The barista consistently delivers a great macchiato, which is my go-to drink when I visit in the mornings. Although I have tried the espresso on occasion, I prefer the milder flavor of the macchiato. The coffee is not bitter, but it also lacks the silky smoothness of some other cafes I have visited. This may be due to the nutty flavor of the roasted beans. Overall, it is always a pleasant experience at this cafe, with the added bonus of short wait times.

This restaurant offers a small taste of Paris in the bustling city. The atmosphere is charming and cozy with friendly staff and an incredible selection of chocolates that are hard to resist. The coffee is fantastic (I recommend the dark roast) and they also have a variety of teas available. It's always busy, but they have plenty of paninis for lunch at a great price ($5 including tax). I come here about three times a week for a coffee and a little box of chocolates - it's the perfect treat.
