Dined here for first and perhaps last time this week. Really wanted the Prime Rib. Once we had ordered and received our drinks (I had specifically ordered a wine I knew would pair well with the roast beef) we ordered and were informed that they didn't have any roast beef that was advertised online and on their menus. They actually hadn't even ordered it in weeks. We were the only patrons in the restaurant during supper hour. I can see why they stopped ordering roast beef. Still it was a shame they did not remove it from their menus and online if they have stopped serving it.I ended up ordering a beef dip sandwich which made me wonder where they got THAT roast beef from. My companion ordered fish and chips which I was told was mostly breaded material. I DID really enjoy my sandwich and especially the French fries but we really just wanted Prime rib and made a special trip for this. Disappointing.

We visited Britalia again as our first experience was good but this one was not at all the same! The Mother daughter who were "filling in" while they hired new staff were a disgrace. The daughter was loud and leaned on the booth while talking to us. They didn't know anything about the menu. Didn't tell us the place was closing at two but we definitely got the feeling we were being rushed out! The coffee and food felt "left over" from the morning shift. We'd love to try again sometime but they really need to screen their "front of house" staff! A few appetizers on the menu would be nice with a beer as well....we want this place to succeed so heed the customers advice.

There were 6 of us that went for breakfast. It took about 20 minutes to get the menu and to be asked if we wanted coffee. By the time we ordered, and got our food, it was 50 minutes later! There was only one waitress, and they had to call someone from the hotel to help her out. We didn't have too many options as to where to eat breakfast, but waiting 50 minutes was a bit too long.

After waiting over 50 minutes for our order for four, we asked that the meal be delivered to our room. It arrived 1 hour and 5 minutes from time of order and was luke-warm. The fish in my fish and chips tasted and felt like it had been created out of mashed up fish pieces (hopefully, I wasn't eating leftovers.) I could not finish. My wife's chicken had been burnt with the burnt portion cut off. She too could not finish. Best Western, you need to find a client that will allow your guests to enjoy their food!
