Boston Pizza - Ottawa

Food is low quality. I felt bad for my server as the restaurant seem understaffed. I get the feeling they hire less experienced servers, because the service is not the most professional (and because I would those with more experience could and would work at pretty where at any other restaurant).

It wasn't a bad experience for a birthday party...but it took ages to get the food and bills organized. When I go out I want speed. It took a friend putting on his coat to get his bill.the food was alright...but not wonderful. Mediocre but passable night overall

This is one of our hang outs, which means we eat here often. The menu has a wide range of different options. The food itself has been pretty good every time we go. However the service is a hit or miss. This particular time, it wan't busy when we got there, we had a choice of wherever we wanted to sit. We were seated quickly. We ordered our food and the manager at the time delivered our food instead of the waitress who took our order. Not a big deal. We had to wave down a different waitress to get a refill of water. We finished eating or just about when she did come over to ask how everything is, we said OK. but after she walked away, we looked at each other and said - Gone. We finished cleaning off our plates. We were waiting for our waitress to come back and check to see if we wanted anything else, dessert, or coffee etc. Nope, no one did. At the bar (that's the side we were sitting at) were two other waitresses leaning on it. They for some reason couldn't come to our table. They would go to the very next one but not to ours. As a customer this very poor and it made me feel like there were issues with the staff, why wouldn't they cover each other. The manager did not come back either. We put on our coats..still no one came. We still hadn't received our bill. We began walking to the door. One of us actually walked out to the car. I stayed and stood at the front desk where you are to be greeted with a smile when you walk in. I stood there for another 10 minutes while the so called manager was on the phone trying to take an order. When he hung up and looked at me and asked for how many? He was prepared to seat me again. I asked him, if he would like us to pay or just leave? Now there were other to be guests standing behind me waiting for a table. Inside the dining area was our waitress, they had her going from end of the building to the other. That is crazy. Very poorly staffed. Next we will just keep walking. This isn't the first time this has happened to us.

Went for lunch last week, sat on the patio on a beautiful day and just enjoyed a pizza, not that much to say but it is great place to eat, clean patio, just plain nice... Service was great to find out them server was actually the owner along with is brother, I congratulated him on his establishment at such a young, well done...

The service at this restaurant is awful, it's really slow. The restaurant isn't even busy, and we've been waiting here for half an hour. There are five of us in our group.
